The team from Smart Shelters made excellent progress during the July school holidays, completing phase one.   This saw all 24 of the post holes drilled, the poles installed, and concrete poured.   The site for the new water tanks to take all the roof run-off was prepped and the four tanks put into place also.  
 
Phase two of the Arena cover was completed during the September School holidays with the team from Smart Shelters installing all the arches that span the recently installed poles and create the framework for the roof.  They then spread the cover and attached gutters, downpipes and completed other finishing touches. 

Having a roof over our arena will mean so much to our riders.  No more cancelled riding in wet or stormy conditions and on hot days riders will now be protected from the heat.
