Jenny Marcroft MP visits North Shore RDA
We were pleased to have a visit from Jenny Marcroft MP recently, who spent over an hour with us, watching a ride, chatting to staff, volunteers and the school staff member who brings this group of riders to us each week.
Jenny sits on the Health Sub-Committee in Wellington, so it was very useful for her to witness first-hand the content of one of our therapeutic riding sessions and see how we engage our riders to Change More Lives.
Jenny commented; thanks to the amazing volunteers at the North Shore Riding for the Disabled for my visit today. For almost 50 years they have been operating on the Shore.
North Shore RDA provides interaction with horses to improve health and wellbeing outcomes for people experiencing disability, or who have specific challenges or needs. Horses have a special magic that can change lives!
